About Snigdha
I worked with students K-12 for one year, after which I began attending the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign as a Computer Science student. Ever since high school, I've had a passion for spreading a love of learning. As a student, I have been a teacher's assistant for three semesters in both coding project-based courses and advanced coding courses. My younger students have always demonstrated swift progress and strong retention of content, and my older students have been able to more easily digest difficult content at this elite school for computer science.

I teach students how to learn, not just how to do. I foster problem-solving skills, mental perseverance, and resilience--the key skills that have helped me through my collegiate and professional career. I will typically outline how to generally do a type of problem, work through an example one, and then let my student demonstrate how much they have learned, guiding them with helpful hints if necessary. I always recognize and celebrate progress! I have worked with students K-12, as well as TA'd for college students.
