About Leighanne

Hello! My name is Leighanne, and I am currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering. Throughout my academic journey, I have developed a strong foundation in Mathematics, Physics, Programming, and other STEM-related subjects. These are not just topics I study, but subjects I use regularly in solving real engineering problems and projects.

As a tutor, I am committed to creating a positive, supportive, and engaging learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes. I understand that every learner is unique, so I take the time to adapt my teaching methods to match each student's pace, strengths, and learning style. My goal is to help students build not only their academic skills but also their confidence in tackling challenging subjects.

Beyond academics, I actively participate in leadership roles, engineering organizations, and community outreach activities, which have strengthened my communication, teamwork, and mentoring skills. These experiences have taught me the importance of patience, responsibility, and professionalism when working with others.

Students and parents can expect well-prepared lessons, clear explanations, and a tutor who genuinely cares about their progress. Whether the goal is to improve grades, prepare for examinations, strengthen foundational knowledge, or gain a deeper understanding of STEM concepts, I am dedicated to helping students achieve their goals in a structured and encouraging learning environment.

I believe that learning becomes much more effective when students understand the concepts behind the answers. With patience, consistency, and the right guidance, every student can develop the skills and confidence needed to succeed both inside and outside the classroom.

Hi! I'm a Computer Engineering student who understands that learning can sometimes feel overwhelming, especially when it comes to subjects like Mathematics, Physics, and STEM-related topics. As a student myself, I know the challenges of keeping up with lessons, preparing for exams, and understanding difficult concepts. That's why I aim to create a learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and learning at their own pace.

My teaching style is patient, interactive, and focused on understanding rather than memorization. I like to explain concepts step by step, using real-life examples and practical situations to make lessons easier to grasp. I believe that every student learns differently, so I adjust my approach depending on what works best for each learner.

In a typical lesson, we'll start by reviewing any topics that need clarification, then move on to new concepts through guided discussions and examples. After that, we'll solve practice problems together and gradually build your confidence until you can answer independently. I also encourage students to ask as many questions as they need because I believe curiosity is one of the best ways to learn.

What makes me different as a tutor is that I'm not just focused on helping students get the right answers. I want them to understand the reasoning behind every solution so they can apply their knowledge confidently in school and beyond. My background in engineering has strengthened my analytical and problem-solving skills, which I enjoy sharing with my students.

My lessons are ideal for elementary, junior high school, and senior high school students who want extra support in Mathematics, Physics, Basic Programming, and other STEM-related subjects. Whether you're struggling with a topic, aiming for higher grades, preparing for an exam, or simply wanting to build a stronger foundation, I'll be happy to help you achieve your goals while making learning less stressful and more enjoyable.
