About Jo
I am an experienced ESL tutor with 10 years of teaching high school and college students. I have a strong passion for education and enjoy helping students improve their English skills. I have taught between 150 and 200 students, gaining valuable experience in handling different levels.
One of my proud achievements is helping students become confident speakers and effective communicators. Many of my students have achieved better results in exams and daily communication. My teaching style focuses on simplicity, clarity, and interaction.
I use practical examples and regular practice to make learning effective. I believe every student can learn with the right support, and I am here to guide them.

My ESL teaching approach focuses on building strong communication skills through real-life practice and continuous learning. I use real-life examples and case studies to help students understand how English is used in everyday communication across different contexts.
This helps them apply what they learn with confidence. I motivate students by encouraging them and supporting their progress in a friendly and positive environment. I include problem-solving techniques such as conversations, role-plays, storytelling, and real-life tasks that improve fluency, accuracy, and confidence.
I believe in integrity, so I provide honest and clear feedback that helps students improve step by step. I also use a flexible teaching style, adapting lessons based on each student’s level, needs, and goals. In addition to ESL, I teach grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, and writing skills.
