About Rianne
My background is in classical drawing and painting, then I later went on to study design and illustration at Pratt Institute. I also studied fashion illustration at FIT and am very familiar with the art school prep process. I have worked in design and most prominently have commissioned custom paintings for clients for several years. I have a lot of diverse technique under my belt, and I am also really skilled at helping students find their unique creative voice. I think above all, that is the most important thing, and is what really helps us thrive.

My lessons balance learning technique with helping you find what really sets you apart as an artist. I feel it is so important to connect with what inspires you, and while I will offer so much guidance through skill and through knowledge, your passion and inspiration is a greater teacher than any technique. My lessons will be about helping you grow as an artist through practice, and a helping you convey what moves you in life, and how you see the world.
