Base of my experience I used a variety the teaching methods to attract students' attention and interest, such use media and methods that suitable to the student's needed, situations. used cooperative learning method it increases the student's attention and interest, they learn together, share ideas, and solve the problem with enjoyble with their friends in the classroom.
Besides all these additional techniques mentioned, I always have the feeling that one point may be even easier and more powerful: If you yourself are enthusiastic about your topic, your students will recognize this and often be "infected" by it.
