About Kasey
I was a professional ballet dancer until my career turned to writing as I pursued my undergraduate English degree from Columbia University in New York City. I am currently working as a Senior Editor for Columbia's Neuroscience Journal, Grey Matters and have private tutoring experience coaching personal stories, essays, and college applications. When I work with my clients, I never fix their mistakes myself. If I explicitly tell my students what to change, their writing will never truly improve. I personally take the time to have an extensive one-on-one conversation with my clients walking through their edits sentence by sentence, engaging them in conversation and questions, to help them articulate their thoughts in the clearest, most original way.
