About Tucker
My name is Tucker Gann, and I am a student at a private Christian college. I have a 4.0 GPA in all my classes, including mathematics courses through Calculus 2. I am a hard worker, and love to be able to help fellow classmates when they need. I enjoy seeing the gears turn in students’ heads, and love getting to see them have their “AHA!” moments. I have worked as a trainer in the fast food industry for t months, which taught me many different things about instructing others whether in academics or work. I realized that it is not the best course of action to just give the answer to the person, but to instead give them the resources they need to find the answer for themselves. This helps them when they encounter a problem after training is complete, they have a course of action that will help them succeed.

I am a person who enjoys watching others succeed, especially in mathematics which I love. I do not tutor students to just get the right answer, but teach problem solving and critical thinking that will help you throughout your school career. Instead of giving you the answer, I will give you the resources to find the answer. I’ve loved math since I was in 3rd grade, and my passion for it has not diminished at all during my time in middle school, high school, or college. I am able to help high school and college students in the following subjects: Algebra 1 & 2, Trigonometry, Pre Calculus, and Calculus 1 & 2.

Tucker has tutored me in the past and was very patient, explained things well, and helped me understand the pieces of specific concepts. It was more helpful to meet with him than my teacher at school. I think that he has a natural skill in working with students, and because of his age he explains things in a way that makes sense to the students he is helping.
