I will use a combination of coaching and teaching strategies, given my background. As I would with an athlete or a team, I will start by evaluating the student's present level of knowledge and his or her objectives. I would then adjust my strategy accordingly. I will place a strong emphasis on problem-solving and practical application, just like I do at work. To ensure a thorough understanding, I will use examples from real-world situations and invite active participation.
Clearly defining my objectives and matching them to the students' objectives will be the first steps in my lesson plan. I will use my communication skills to effectively break down difficult mathematical concepts into manageable chunks. Critical thinking would probably be greatly encouraged by interactive activities and problem-solving situations. Feedback and progress monitoring would be necessary elements to guarantee continuous improvement.
I stand out because of my experience as a coach and entrepreneur and because I am a task-oriented person. I bring to tutoring a special fusion of leadership, practicality, and a results-driven mindset. In addition to assisting students in understanding math concepts, this strategy also gets them ready for practical applications.
My lessons could be used by a variety of students, from those taking college-level math courses to those in high school. I am a flexible tutor because I can change my approach based on the needs of each student. Given my background in business management, I may also be particularly useful in assisting students in getting ready for business-related courses.
