My teaching method is based upon connecting scientific principles to real-world examples of biology in our everyday lives. I enjoy challenging students and finding gaps in their knowledge to strengthen their overall understanding of the content. I am patient and can work with a variety of learners - including college students, high school students, and students with varying exceptionalities. These are all environments that I have taught face-to-face over the past 7 years. I was also awarded "Rookie Teacher of the Year" by the Florida Seminole County district during my first year of teaching.
