About Taya

I'm a Bioengineering student at Temple University who enjoys helping students who may need a little extra help or a different way of understanding something. I also have a tutor, so I understand how helpful it can be to have someone who is patient and understanding right away. I tutor math and English and focus on keeping things clear, simple, and easy to follow. My goal is to help students feel more confident in their work and comfortable asking questions.

About the lesson

I like to keep tutoring simple and easy to understand. I break problems down step by step and explain things in a way that makes sense instead of making them more complicated. During a lesson, we can go over what you're struggling with, work through examples together, and then practice problems until you feel comfortable doing them on your own. I'm patient and don't mind explaining something more than once. My lessons are for elementary school, middle school, and high school students who needs extra help with math. I want students to feel comfortable asking questions and not feel bad if they don't understand something right away.
