About Devika

Hey there! My name is Devika and I am a classical and fingerstyle guitarist from Delhi, India. I have experience in learning and performing acoustic, electric and classical guitar along with teaching at Synergy Institute of Music and Modern Public School, Delhi.

I am an aspiring music producer and mix engineer, and have worked at a company named "Dusq" located in Dwarka, Delhi, from January to April 2026.

Viewing music from this broad perspective helps me inculcate the knowledge that I gather from all spheres into my classes helping build great guitarists.

I'll see you in class!

About the lesson

Classes will cover fundamentals of playing as well as theoretical framework. Goals will be set according to the student as to whether they would like to pursue grades, learn fingerstyle, arrangement, rhythm or lead guitar. The class starts with a quick warm-up session which includes finger, scale and chord exercises, proceeds toward the theoretical part along with a practical demonstration and ends with a quick revision of the hour.

Classes can be taken by 12 and above, having a guitar is a must.

The unique quality that I bring to the platform is tailoring to the student's interest and willingness to learn something. It not only makes learning a fun experience but stretches its scope beyond the instrument. For what is learned with fun and focus, is remembered forever.
