I completed my Bachelor’s in Chemistry from the University of Vermont, where I assisted with freshman lab support and high-school science visits. With six years of tutoring, mostly online, I’ve become skilled at simplifying complex reactions and breaking down intimidating chapters into clear, relatable steps. My Chemistry lessons start with real life — the heat from cooking, the color of fruit, the way batteries power devices, the rising of bread, and the aroma of spices. Once students see reactions happening around them, chemistry becomes intuitive.
Organic Chemistry becomes the study of structure; Biochemistry becomes the chemistry of life; Electrochemistry becomes energy in motion; and Food Chemistry becomes the easiest path to understanding chemical change.
I teach in warm, relatable language so students can build true understanding that will carry them into introductory college chemistry with confidence and comfort.
