About Peter
Started teaching university students, then moved to school as well. Taught 4 years in school and 4 years in university. Also worked in chemistry research. Gifted in passing on knowledge, students/pupils were always happy and high percentage passed their exams. Still keep contacts with students who remember me after 20 years.

Teaching must be based on the needs of the student, which means what parts of the subject the student finds difficult and what methods of explanation work best for each student. Some students are better with a rules based explanation of chemistry but others find it better to consider each subject until they feel that they can get a deeper understanding. Both are good. As a result, before teaching any student my task will be to find what works best for him/her, and what parts of chemistry he/she finds harder.
