About Sander

I am a chemistry teacher in the Netherlands (so my private tutoring sessions will be online), as well as a private tutor for 5 years. Usually my private tutoring students require additional help in passing their final state exams, but I have also assisted students for a longer period of time (up to 2 years) to guide them through their chemistry curriculum.

About the lesson

My tutoring sessions of one hour include explanations on a subject, which can be given in different ways (e.g. by talking, illustrating, watching practical videos together and discuss them). As a qualified teacher I am able to find exactly the right way for you to optimise learning. In addition, during this hour I will provide guided practices on exercises, so you will get live feedback on your reasoning/problem solving abilities.

Mister Dik tutored me in chemistry for two years. He is also a chemistry teacher himself and therefore knows how things are going at school. He explains things clearly and calmly, which is very nice. He prepares his lessons well, so you can start right away and you know where you stand. All in all, I got a lot from my tutoring, which is why I also passed chemistry.
