I am a chemistry student at the University of York and took Maths, Further Maths and Chemistry for my A-Levels. I have been tutoring for around a year and currently have two students who I teach regularly.

I teach on the basis that questions are the key to aquiring mastery of a subject, especially Maths. I often go over topics at the beginning of the lesson but make sure to spend the majority on questions based learning. Trying to tailor my lessons to the sudent specifically and what they want to work on is also something that I think is important.
Every now and then I will also recap some of the previous topics covered in order to keep them fresh in the mind.
