About Ricardo
As I mentioned in the title, I am a chemistry undergraduate student at the Faculty of Chemistry at UNAM. The reason why I want to teach is because I consider that one of the most fundamental aspects in the formation of a person is their education. The simple fact of helping another in their formation is an activity that I consider invaluable.
Regarding my academic preparation, I must say that I completed my high school at the Tecnológico de Monterrey, in the international baccalaureate program. I ended up with an overall average of 98 in middle school, 96 in high school, and an average of 99 in math and physics, along with a 100 in chemistry. Regarding the internationally approved diploma, I have the highest possible grade in chemistry high level and mathematics: analysis and approaches standard level, as well as the second highest possible grade in physics standard level. Additionally, outside of classes and evaluations, I have participated in several math and chemistry contests, in which I have obtained honorable mentions and even won 4th place at a national level competition.

What I primarily seek in my classes is to encourage independent thinking and self-understanding. My goal is to help students get to a point where they no longer need to take my classes and instead become empowered to tackle future complex problems on their own.
The way I want to achieve this is for me to provide the tools to solve problems and for the student to improve their skills through constant practice either in class or on their own.
