Super Tutor

Bella is one of our best Maths tutors. High-quality profile, qualifications verified, organised and responsive to lesson requests, and appreciated by their students.

About Bella

I am currently a graduate student at the University of Minnesota. I have 6+ years of experience tutoring and teaching general, organic, and analytical chemistry. I have worked with students of all ages, from middle school students to adults returning to school! I am available to tutor both virtually and in-person.

About the lesson

As a student who spends many hours a week in a lab, I am a huge proponent of learning my doing! I have worked as a teaching assistant for my school's organic chemistry courses, and I have found that the best way to understand curriculum is to grasp the concept at their cores and then practice applying them to problems.

Reviews

All the reviews collected from students are verified by our team. They are therefore reliable and correspond to a real experience with Bella.

Perfect! Bella has a great understanding of the concepts behind organic chemistry! Instead of having me memorize reactions, Bella helped me think through how and why certain molecules would react the way they did. I would highly recommend her!

Perfect! Bella was excellent, I hired her in search of help for calculus tutoring and she responded promptly and I originally started off with one day a week every week and she was always available with an open scheduling for help as I needed it. I genuinely didn’t think I would pass calculus as I usually don’t understand math, but I ended the semester with an A. Bella is affordable, reliable, open and so kind she really pushes you to try and figure the problems out and you will find it surprising but you’ll know way more than you originally think. She does the problems with you one on one and has so many tips for success. I highly recommend I will come back to her for help in my other classes now that I learned she is a multi-focused tutor.

As a high school counselor, my students report awesome results with Bella’s services. Our advanced students who are looking to nail their ACT and AP exams report her uncanny ability to ask meaningful open-ended questions. I have also recommended Bella to some of our struggling students because other students working to recover credits tell me that she’s able to explain material in multiple ways. Across the spectrum of abilities, Bella’s approach brings results.

Bella was just what my daughter needed her freshman year. She helped with the advanced math and science classes that were much more difficult than what my daughter had in high school.
I highly recommended Bella!

Bella taught me calculus AND chemistry. She was experienced and patient and I can really tell teaching is her passion. I've never felt so comfortable in subjects I thought I knew so little about, but she made it intuitive.
