About Desiree
Hey there, my name is Desiree and I have a passion for Chemistry and helping people. I always go out of my way to help others and it's always a pleasure doing so. I recently received my Bachelor's degree in Chemistry and I'm always happy to help students not only do well in their exams but also have them enjoy the subject too.

All students deserve to learn in an environment where they don't feel pressure to understand material immediately. I teach all my students at their pace to ensure they fully understand the material. I allow students to voice their concerns on chapters they find challenging and I base my lessons on what they need to work on. I give a summary page for each chapter as well as give practice questions and calculations to help students learn. I also make flashcards and mind maps to help students understand difficult concepts. I also give advice on how to approach exams.
Students may select one‑to‑one tuition or a calm, peer‑supported small group (maximum four students per group) designed to promote interaction and collective growth. Students are asked to indicate their preferred session type so I can prepare the right learning environment for them.
My lessons are usually 60 minutes long however longer hours can be facilitated as well as the frequency of the lessons. The price reflects the cost of one weekly 1-hour lesson.
