About Adam
I recently graduated from Macalester College, where I majored in chemistry and math and minored in biology. I was a pre-med student and am currently taking a gap year before medical school.
I helped teach organic chemistry for multiple years while at Macalester as a supplemental instructor, writing problem sets for students, holding office hours, holding problem solving and exam review sessions, and providing the occasional lecture. Though much of my teaching experience is in organic, I have strong math (especially calculus), physics, and general chemistry backgrounds and am happy to help out with any of these notoriously difficult subjects.

I understand how difficult the pre-health course load is and how overwhelming it can be, especially without an instructor who is able to teach in a way you understand. That's why I'm offering affordable lessons where I can bring my unique perspectives and insight into organic chemistry, physics, general chemistry, and other courses that can be challenging.
I strive to meet the learning needs and styles of my students to ensure that they are able to fully grasp and master the topics at hand. I tend to put heavy emphasis on problem solving techniques and approaches, since I often find students who are more than capable of excelling in a course struggling simply because of a lack of experience or exposure to the right problem solving strategies.
