About Radhika
Hello, Looking for a tutor is an important step in furthering your understanding of a subject and getting in some extra learning hours outside of school/college/uni. I myself found it hard to focus in class as a kid, and as a result my grades slipped a bit when I was around 15. So my parents got me a tutor and it's the best thing they ever did for me! Now I would love to give back some of my knowledge in order to help others like I was helped out as a youngster. I'm willing to teach anyone studying up to postgraduate level. My experience Currently I am working as a research assistant and lab manager at the School of Pharmacy in University of Reading. Apart from research I often help with the undergrad and postgraduate demonstrating in practical classes and help out with marking coursework. I have been working as a tutor for more than 7 years now and I love teaching, and I find it very rewarding. I am also very patient, so we can go at whatever pace is comfortable for you. My Qualifications PhD in microbial and cellular sciences, Faculty and health and medical sciences in University of Surrey. My Masters was in Biotechnology with more experience in enzyme kinetics and biochemistry, my BSc was in Biotechnology with various subjects in it including Molecular biology, virology, microbiology, immunology and toxicology. At A level I studied Biology, Chemistry and Physics. I am a very well experienced, very friendly and a flexible person in teaching. To say more about me I have been awarded faculty academic excellence for my merit and that has added to my current profile in teaching assistant role. Radhika helped our daughter make excellent progress in year 6/7 science as she was struggling in this area. They quickly developed a good bond and our daughter looked forward to the sessions. (She is now doing triple science for GCSE which is a BIG turnaround for her).
