About Sara

I am a highly motivated chemist with dual Master’s degrees in Catalysis, Synthesis & Sustainable Chemistry (Claude Bernard University Lyon 1, France) and Environmental Chemistry (Lebanese University). My academic and research journey has equipped me with strong expertise in organic synthesis, catalysis, analytical chemistry, and nanomaterials, complemented by a deep commitment to green and sustainable practices in modern chemical research. My Master’s research at the École Normale Supérieure de Lyon focused on the synthesis and functionalization of cryptophane derivatives for selective recognition of chiral anions in aqueous systems — a project that honed my precision in multi-step synthesis, spectroscopic characterization (NMR, MS, IR, UV-Vis), and supramolecular chemistry. Currently, I apply these skills in R&D work at LABRAINS UAE, developing sustainable chemistry strategies and microbiome-friendly formulations that bridge scientific innovation with practical environmental impact. Beyond the lab, I bring experience in education, leadership, and international collaboration, having worked across Lebanon, France, and the UAE. I thrive in multidisciplinary, research-driven environments where chemistry interfaces with materials science, sustainability, and public health. Driven by curiosity and purpose, I aim to contribute to innovative molecular design, functional materials, and environmental remediation technologies that advance both scientific understanding and sustainable development.

About the lesson

I am a chemist with dual Master’s degrees in Catalysis, Synthesis & Sustainable Chemistry (France) and Environmental Chemistry (Lebanon). I specialize in organic chemistry, with hands-on experience in supramolecular chemistry, spectroscopy (NMR, MS, IR, UV-Vis), and multi-step synthesis. My teaching focuses on making complex concepts—such as reaction mechanisms, stereochemistry, and spectroscopy—clear and intuitive. I have several years of experience helping high-school and university students improve their confidence and mastery in chemistry through customized lessons, exam preparation, and problem-solving sessions. Languages you teach in (Arabic, English) Hourly rate: start around $20-30/hour and increase after your first few students.

Sara helped a lot of kids to achieve good results. The student she is teaching him right now he got star of the month in Arabic language, and another university student from Andrews university, he got great results in the organic chemistry, she taught him in just three days before the exam and cover what the student has issues with and he got good results. Sara is very great in teaching she teaches with responsibility to get the best outcome of the students. I highly recommends her.
