About Eder

Hello! I am a dedicated and passionate Chemical Science student at Trinity College Dublin with a unique and inspiring academic journey. During a gap year, I independently mastered Leaving Cert Chemistry, demonstrating self-discipline and a deep understanding of the subject. Not only did I sit the exam as an external student, but I also achieved outstanding results, showcasing my ability to self-teach effectively and excel in challenging circumstances. This unique experience allowed me to truly understand how to achieve exam success in a short space of time.

Furthermore, I achieved the highest grade in Biology for my Leaving Cert, underscoring my proficiency in the sciences. My approach to tutoring is rooted in the belief that every student can achieve excellence with the right guidance and resources. I combine my thorough knowledge of the subjects with patience and adaptability, ensuring each session is tailored to meet your unique learning style and needs.

Choosing me as your personal tutor means gaining a mentor who is not just academically accomplished, but also genuinely committed to helping you reach your full potential. Let's embark on a journey of learning and discovery together, and unlock your true capabilities in the fascinating worlds of chemistry and biology!

About the lesson

In my tutoring sessions, I employ a dynamic and interactive teaching methodology, focusing on building a strong conceptual foundation while encouraging analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.

My lessons typically last for 60 minutes, with topics led by the student to allow a focus on their problem areas. Lessons aim to provide ample time to delve deeply into topics, clarify doubts, and practice application.

Holding a strong academic background in Chemistry, Biology and Biochemistry from Trinity College Dublin, coupled with my personal experience of excelling in Leaving Cert Chemistry and Biology, I bring both knowledge and practical insights to my teaching. I focus my teaching on those preparing for Leaving Cert examinations. My lessons are tailored for secondary school students, especially those in their final years, aiming to strengthen their understanding and performance in Chemistry and Biology.

Whether you're a beginner needing to build foundational knowledge or an advanced learner seeking to refine your skills for exams, my sessions are designed to cater to your individual learning journey.
