About Clodagh
Hi. My name is Clodagh I am a 19 year old UCD engineering student.
I understand the stress and difficulty that comes with being a leaving cert student because it wasn’t too long ago since I was in your position.
It took me a long time to understand and develop my personal study style and I found exams so much easier after understanding that my style of learning didn’t always match with my teachers style of teaching.
Realising this and altering my study methods is what allowed me to achieve 603 points in my Leaving cert with a H1 in Math, Physics and English and a H2 inChemistry.
I know that for many students, understanding their personal learning style may not occur until entering college or later. I want to help you understand how best to learn by working with your brain and not against it.

From my own experience with the Leaving Cert I have detailed handwritten notes for each of my subjects.
It is my belief that each student has aunique style of learning and it is the tutors job to meet them at that point.
To achieve this, I would have students do a number of quizzes to gauge their current ability and strengths and work from there.
Each lesson would be catered to the individual students needs.
