About Emily
My interest in yoga was generated from having fibromyalgia since early childhood and not having anyone in my life who could identify it. In seeking relief, I would fidget my way into yoga poses unknowingly. Later in college, I discovered yoga classes and I was hooked. After a decade of personal practice, I decided to get certified as an instructor myself so that I could assist others with their journeys.

I believe in building strength and self efficacy with gentle, positive self exploration. By not zipping forcefully through poses, we can instead direct more effort into directing our attentions to specific areas of the body. This allows for a deeper understanding of what we are truly experiencing and how we sink our minds into our bodies.
