About Simran

Hi, I’m a 200-hour certified yoga teacher from Rishikesh passionate about helping people feel stronger, healthier, and more connected to their bodies. My journey with yoga started as a way to improve my own lifestyle, and it slowly became something I love sharing with others.
I believe yoga is for everyone, regardless of age or flexibility. My teaching style is calm, supportive, and focused on making you feel comfortable while still helping you grow.
I enjoy working especially with beginners and women who want to improve their fitness, lose weight, and build confidence through yoga.

I am a certified yoga teacher offering personalized yoga classes for all age groups and levels. My sessions focus on weight loss, flexibility, strength building, and overall mind-body balance.
Each class is designed according to your body type and goals, whether you are a beginner or someone looking to deepen your practice. I also incorporate breathing techniques (pranayama) and relaxation to reduce stress, improve posture, and boost energy levels.
I provide a comfortable and supportive environment, especially for beginners and those with specific concerns like stiffness, back pain, or low mobility. Classes are available at home and online with flexible timings.

  • Tell us more about your subject. How did you develop an interest in this field?

    I specialize in teaching yoga with a focus on alignment, breathwork, and mindful movement. My journey with yoga began as a personal practice and gradually evolved into a disciplined lifestyle over the past 5–6 years. Through consistent practice, I experienced significant physical, mental, and emotional benefits, which inspired me to pursue formal training and become a certified instructor. My approach blends traditional yogic principles with a modern understanding of the body.
  • What or who is the motivation behind you choosing to teach & why?

    My primary motivation comes from my own transformation through yoga. Experiencing increased strength, clarity, and emotional balance encouraged me to share this practice with others. I am deeply inspired by the idea of helping individuals reconnect with themselves in today’s fast-paced world.
  • How does your work help society?

    Through yoga, I aim to support overall well-being by helping individuals reduce stress, improve posture, build strength, and develop mindfulness. In a broader sense, my work contributes to creating a healthier and more balanced society.
  • If you had to think of a role model for your work, who do you think of & why?

    I draw inspiration from traditional yoga practitioners who emphasize authenticity, discipline, and simplicity. I believe in staying rooted in the true essence of yoga while adapting it to suit modern lifestyles.
  • Tell us about your hobbies outside teaching.

    Outside of teaching, I enjoy artistic expression, particularly drawing and working with mixed media. I also dedicate time to my personal yoga practice and explore wellness routines that support a balanced and mindful lifestyle.
  • Do you have an anecdote to tell us about your student or professional life?

    One of my most memorable experiences was working with a student who initially struggled with flexibility and confidence. With consistent practice and guidance, they not only improved physically but also developed greater confidence and self-awareness. Witnessing such transformation reinforced my belief in yoga as a powerful tool for holistic growth.
