About Shailja
Namaste
I am a yoga practitioner and teacher with a deep interest in the traditional wisdom of yoga and its relevance in modern life. My journey with yoga began as a personal exploration of inner balance and gradually grew into a sincere practice that I now enjoy sharing with others.
Along with the physical aspects of yoga, I am particularly interested in practices that cultivate mental calmness and inner awareness such as pranayama, meditation and Yoga Nidra.
I believe that yoga is not only about postures but about creating harmony between body, breath and mind. In my teaching, I try to keep the approach simple, gentle and accessible so that anyone can experience the benefits of yoga regardless of age or prior experience.
I enjoy guiding students towards relaxation, mindful breathing and a deeper connection with themselves through regular practice.

My classes are designed to be simple, calming and suitable for people of different levels, especially beginners. The focus is not only on physical postures but also on breath awareness and mental relaxation.
A typical session may include:
• Gentle warm-up movements to relax the body
• Simple yoga postures practiced with awareness
• Pranayama (breathing techniques) to calm the nervous system
• Short guided meditation for mental clarity
• Deep relaxation through Yoga Nidra when required
Each class is adapted according to the needs and comfort of the student. My aim is to create a supportive and peaceful space where yoga can be practiced without pressure.
The intention of these sessions is to help students develop:
• better body awareness
• balanced breathing
• reduced stress and mental calmness
• improved sleep and relaxation
The classes are conducted online and can be adjusted according to the student’s pace and personal goals.
