About Kavya
I am currently a senior in high school and have been practicing yoga since the age of three. My father introduced me to yoga, and through the years, it taught me more than just strength and flexibility—it showed me how to stay calm and centered, even in chaotic situations. Inspired by this, I felt compelled to share the incredible benefits of yoga with others. In ninth grade, I completed a certified training course and began teaching young children soon after. Over time, I’ve had the opportunity to work with more and more students, and it’s been deeply rewarding to witness the positive impact yoga has had on their overall well-being—physically, mentally, and emotionally.

Fitness and yoga are essential aspects of a balanced life. Physical well-being often contributes to greater mental clarity and confidence. My lessons focus on building consistency in yoga practice, helping individuals discover its benefits beyond just asanas and postures. With over three years of experience working specifically with children, I’ve developed an approach that makes yoga engaging, accessible, and effective for young minds. I understand how to guide children toward focus, mindfulness, and self-awareness in ways that resonate with their developmental needs. Moreover, having shadowed various adult and youth classes has given me a perspective on the insightful strength of older age groups.
