About Caroline

My name is Caroline Edet Nkereuwem. I'm from the Otioro community in Okobo Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom State in Nigeria. I studied Biology/Chemistry and have obtained a Nigeria certificate in education from Akwa Ibom State College Of Education. I can teach any subject or students assigned to me, irrespective of any constraint.

Topic: Introduction To Computer Class: Primary 5 Average Age: 9+ years Duration: 40 minutes Behavioral Objectives: By the end of the lesson, pupils should be able to; 1. Define the term "Computer"; 2. Mention the types of Computer; 3. Highlight the advantages and disadvantages of computers. Instructional materials: Chart showing some of the examples of computers. Teaching Method used: Discussion Method. Presentation: The computer is an electronic device that accepts raw data as input and processes the data with a set of instructions to produce the results as output. Types Of Computer. In terms of data handling capability, there are three types of computers. They are: 1. Analog computers, designed to process analog data. Example: Mercury thermometer. 2. Digital computers, It is designed to perform calculation and logical operation at high speed. Example: phones, calculators, etc. 3. Hybrid computers, processes both discrete and continuous data. Computer increases productivity while creating the spirit of dependency.
