About Susan
I am a fully certified BC teacher who taught for the Surrey School District for over 2 decades. I obtained my honors Education degree in Montreal, Canada in 1993. I am certified to teach elementary, secondary and adult students in both BC and Quebec. My specialties are phonics, reading, writing, literature, vocabulary, and grammar.

I utilize the prescribed learning outcomes from the Ministry of Education to guide student instruction, and tailor-make lessons for individuals or small groups either in-person or through Zoom lessons. I use a variety of teaching methods to address learning needs. Regular homework plays an integral role in students' progress and is therefore regularly assigned.
