About Ashley

I started teaching children and adult classes since 2012. I have studied with multiple teachers in Bakersfield, Los Angeles, but my main Iyengar Yoga teacher is in San Diego. I have been with her since 2012 and she helped me became Certified in the Iyengar System in 2017.

Since then I have become accredited with Yoga Alliance as a E-RYT 500 and a certified YACEP.

About the lesson

I teach yoga. I love to teach children yoga. I teach bonding classes between caregivers and children, and I teach official children yoga starting at age of 6-18 years old. We play we sing, we have fun, always wanting more when we leave class, even 18 year old can sing if they want to.

I do teach adults but at a slower pace than the 6 year old. A lot less jumping and singing. But we can sing if they want to. In adult yoga we focus on alignment. We use props to ensure that that you gain the physical and emotional benefit of the yoga pose.
