About Nicola

Since gaining my CELTA (Certificate in English Language Teaching to Adults) qualification at the British Council Singapore in 2012, I have taught over 50 students on a one to one basis.

Their needs have ranged from general conversation to business English. I have helped students feel more confident dealing with their children's teachers on parents' evening as well as assisting those who have been preparing important documents for work or practicing for an interview.

I am a friendly professional with a passion for language and teaching.

About the lesson

With over 7 years' experience teaching ESOL and a business background in Human Resource management, I have taught from beginner to advanced level to a number of nationalities including Japanese, Turkish, French, German, Czech and Lithuanian.

Each lesson is designed just for you, whether it is to help improve general conversation, pronunciation, business English or prepare for an interview, an exam or a presentation.

I am friendly and a good communicator with a passion for teaching and language.

I offer one free trial lesson.

My rates are reduced if the lesson is via Skype and if you pay in blocks of 5 (whether face to face or Skype).

Prices for face to face lessons conducted more than 10 miles from my home address (BR7) would be negotiated on a individual basis.

I offer small group lessons for you and up to 5 friends. Rates would need to be discussed for each situation.

I require payment of 4 lessons in advance.
