About Anupriya Simeon
I am a CELTA-qualified English teacher with a BA in English and postgraduate training in international teacher education. I have experience working with children and multilingual learners in international and language-learning settings, including classroom experience at an international school in Belgium.
I am a patient, warm and reliable teacher who genuinely enjoys working with young learners. Having lived and studied internationally, I understand that every student comes from a different background and may have different levels of confidence with English. I enjoy getting to know my students, adapting to their needs and creating a friendly environment where they feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes.
I believe learning English should be useful, encouraging and enjoyable, and I would love to help students become more confident in using the language both inside and outside the classroom.

My lessons are warm, supportive and adapted to each student's needs, level and learning style. As a CELTA-qualified English teacher with international classroom experience, I use a communicative and student-centred approach, helping learners feel comfortable using English rather than simply memorising rules.
A typical lesson may include conversation, reading, vocabulary, grammar or writing activities, with plenty of opportunities for the student to speak and participate. I use questions, examples, guided practice and activities to make lessons engaging and understandable.
I particularly enjoy working with children and young learners, and I am patient with students who may feel shy or unsure about speaking English. My aim is to help students build both their English skills and their confidence, while creating a classroom where they feel comfortable making mistakes and learning from them.
My classes are suitable for primary and secondary school students, young learners who want to improve their spoken English, and students who would like additional support with reading, writing, grammar or general English.
