About Deepa

Hello! My name is Deepa, and I am based in Toronto, Canada.

I understand the CELPIP journey from both a student's and a tutor's perspective. Having successfully achieved a score of 10 in all four CELPIP modules, I know the dedication, preparation, and strategy required to perform well on the exam.

My background is in communications, content writing, and marketing, where strong English communication skills are essential every day. I also enjoy helping others build confidence in their language abilities and achieve important personal, academic, and immigration goals.

Students often appreciate my patient, supportive, and encouraging approach. I believe learning is most effective when students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and improving step by step.

I look forward to helping you gain confidence and work toward your CELPIP goals.

About the lesson

My CELPIP lessons are tailored to each student's current level, target score, and test timeline. During our first session, I assess your strengths and identify the areas that need improvement. Based on that, I create a personalized study plan focused on helping you maximize your score.

For Speaking, I help students improve fluency, confidence, organization, and response structure. For Writing, I focus on idea development, clarity, grammar, and professional language. For Reading and Listening, I teach practical strategies for understanding questions, identifying key information, and managing time effectively.

My approach is highly interactive and feedback-driven. Rather than simply reviewing theory, we work through practice questions, targeted exercises, and real CELPIP-style tasks. After each lesson, students receive clear feedback and actionable steps to continue improving between sessions.

My lessons are suitable for both first-time test takers and those looking to improve previous CELPIP scores.
