About Adriana
I am a yoga teacher who is fresh out of her 200 hour teacher training course. I am passionate about making the practice of yoga more accessible for all people.
I have had my own practice for 6 years. Prior to that, I was a dancer and dance teacher so I have a deep understanding of movement practices.
I am also an teacher of English as an Additional Language (EAL) who has worked with groups of culturally diverse students. I have taught children, adolescents and adults and have been able to building trusting relationships with students in each age group.

Inclusivity is at the core of my teaching philosophy. I believe that yoga instruction can be catered to anyone living in any type of body. Having taught diverse groups, I have a great ability to adapt my teaching methods to suit people of different ages, cultural backgrounds, linguistic backgrounds. My classes are body positive and person centred. I like to empower my students to learn to adopt autonomy over their yoga practice.
Although the physical practice of yoga (asana) has many benefits I like to incorporate other parts of the practice into my teaching. These practices include breath work (pranayama), meditation and exploration of the ethical teachings (yamas and niyamas).
