About Lauraine
I am an A-Candidate Matric learner in Eben Dönges High School, based in Kraaifontein. I have obtained my Half-Colours in Academics last year and I have always been in the Top 5 since the end of my Grade 10 year. I am very fluent in English and I can read and write in Afrikaans and French. I am known as an all-rounder, as I harbour many other useful skills, other than teaching. I am a methodical person and rely on the right side of my brain to approach different situations, however, I am also known for my creativity. I believe in maintaining order and cleanliness around me to operate well. I also consider the mental health of those I teach, so that they can max out their full potential. I like to inspire others and share my knowledge.

I have a highly adaptable teaching style, so I approach problems according to what suits your child's understanding best. I teach best in English, but I do understand Afrikaans and speak French. A typical lesson with me is very productive, where we first tackle issues that your child faces, explore other topics within the subject(s) and I will leave them with tests for them to complete, which we will go over during our next session. My lessons are aimed at learners in grades 7-10, as these grades are important and contribute towards a strong foundation for their preparation of the remainder of their academic journey.

Great experience and a happy child! Lauraine tutored my son for Maths, and he went from a Code 4 to a Code 7! She was very patient and always paid attention to what my son felt comfortable with. Her methods definitely left a mark, will be contacting her soon again!
One thing that remains constant about Lauraine is her intelligence and how inquisitive she is. She loves learning and enjoys sharing her knowledge all the time. I am so grateful because I have definitely learned a lot from her!
