Having completed my degree at the UC San Francisco School of Medicine, I find myself thinking about how early science education sets the stage for clinical success. I have guided 57 students through the nuances of biology, ranging from high schoolers to adult learners returning to the field. My journey as a minority advocate in the medical world means I prioritize clarity and accessibility for every student I meet. Whether we are discussing ecology or the complexities of the circulatory system, I aim to create a space that feels both rigorous and welcoming.
