About Jude
I am a Cambridge Natural Sciences graduate, specialising in Physics at undergraduate level before completing a master’s in Philosophy of Science. I achieved 4 A*s in A-Level Maths, Further Maths, Physics and Chemistry, giving me a strong understanding of both the subjects and the demands of the examinations.
I have five years of tutoring experience, including supporting students with Cambridge Natural Sciences applications and teaching STEM subjects at academic summer camps in China. I am friendly, upbeat, patient and committed to helping every student develop confidence, deepen their understanding and achieve their academic goals.

My lessons are tailored to each student’s individual goals, strengths and areas for improvement.
For A-Level students, I begin by assessing their current understanding of the curriculum and identifying any gaps in their knowledge. We then work through these areas systematically, using clear explanations, targeted practice and exam-style questions. My aim is not only to improve students’ subject knowledge, but also to develop their confidence, problem-solving skills and exam technique.
For Cambridge applicants, I provide focused support throughout each stage of the application process. We begin by developing a compelling and authentic personal statement, before preparing thoroughly for any relevant entrance examinations. Finally, I offer realistic interview practice, helping students become comfortable explaining their reasoning, responding to unfamiliar questions and thinking aloud under pressure.
My teaching is supportive, engaging and adapted to the way each student learns best. Lessons typically last 60 minutes and are suitable for A-Level students and prospective Cambridge applicants.
