Ashok Sir tutored me for both IGCSE Mathematics Extended and IBDP Mathematics Analysis and Approaches Higher Level, and has been an exceptional math teacher! He approaches the lessons very methodologically, making sure to build the concepts from the ground up, ensuring that I understood each question from first-principles rather than replication. He is very patient, thorough, and approachable for any questions. Thanks to him, I was able to secure an A* in IGCSE, and a high 6 in IBDP AA HL. His love for mathematics genuinely gets the student to fall in love with the subject as well, and is a great mentor (so much so that I return to him with university level queries even after graduating)!

Having Ashok sir as my IB Math AA HL teacher over the last two years has made my IB journey truly memorable. Math AA HL is notoriously difficult, but he has an incredible ability to make complex concepts easy to understand.What sets him apart is his teaching style. He always takes the time to listen to our doubts and questions before explaining anything, making sure no student is left behind. This approach completely changed my perspective on calculus and differentiation, which were originally the hardest topics for me. Thanks to his patience, I actually mastered them.He also supervised my Math Extended Essay (EE) on time optimization at a traffic junction. His guidance, enthusiasm, and insights helped me connect high-level calculus to a real-world problem successfully. I am incredibly grateful for his support, patience, and mentorship over these two years. He is an outstanding educator, and I cannot recommend his classes highly enough!

I studied both IGCSE Mathematics and IB Mathematics AA HL with Ashokkumar Sir, and I can honestly say that his dedication to his students is very difficult to find in teachers today. He never rushed through a topic just to finish the syllabus and instead always took the time to make sure concepts were fully understood. Whether it was staying back for extra classes, replying to doubts over email, or explaining a difficult idea in multiple ways until it clicked, he consistently went above and beyond to support his students.

What I appreciate most is how approachable and humble he is. No question ever felt too small, and he always encouraged curiosity and deeper understanding rather than memorisation. Even though I took his classes along with other students in my batch, he always privately ensured each student’s progress and sat with us personally to better aid us. Along with his excellent teaching, he shared a ton of resources, practice material, and guidance that helped me succeed in both IGCSE Mathematics and continues to help me with the difficult curriculum of IB Mathematics AA HL. I would highly recommend him to any student looking for a teacher who genuinely cares about their learning and growth, as i once use to struggle horribly with mathematics, and now it’s my favourite subject only because of him.
