About Tessa
Hello, I'm Tessa, an enthusiastic English tutor with a passion for helping students achieve their goals. With 3 years of experience in teaching English, I have had the pleasure of working with students from diverse backgrounds and skill levels. My approach is very relaxed and I try to always make learning fun for my students. Encouraging them to be comfortable and express themselves and make mistakes- an essential part of the learning process. I'm from California close to San Francisco. I grew up hiking in Yosemite and walking along the chilly Northern California beaches. Growing up close to nature helped me to become the adventurous person that I am today. I love travel and language and I'm currently living in Mexico City teaching English and learning a new language myself. So, I know what it's like to feel vulnerable when you're learning! In my spare time I love listening to music, attending creative writing courses and exploring one of the largest cities in the world. I love having students from all over the world and I always have a ton of questions for my students about what life is like in their countries!
