About Deborah
I am a native English speaker and have lived in London most of my life.
I have over 20 years of training and mentoring staff in a wide range of organisations. I am a CELTA qualified teacher and have taught adults at pre-intermediate, intermediate and upper-intermediate levels.
I also have a Masters degree in Marketing and have worked in sales, marketing , project management and most recently as an Operations Director with responsibility for client service, education, IT and finance teams.

I want you to achieve your goals as enjoyably and quickly as possible and I'll use my professional experience to create real-life business lessons designed specifically for you or your team.
My lessons are varied; I can follow a Business English coursebook or I can develop lessons to meet you specific learning goals. We will discuss this in our initial lesson so I can create a programme that is relevant to you. I can draw on 20 years of business and consultancy experience to make sure these lessons are based on real life language for effective business communications.
I have helped dozens of people over the last six years develop their report writing skills and preparing presentations; giving speeches, organising events and taking part in meetings and managing projects.
In our lessons we will focus on the business situations that are relevant to you. We will use these to develop your overall fluency and accuracy focusing on grammar, pronunciation and appropriate business language.
You will always receive feedback after the lesson with any learning points highlighted so that you have a record of your learning to review.

I'm happy to quote a project price if you require consultancy or project management support on a specific activity. I appreciate that some requests or projects don't fit an exact hour and often need short periods of feedback over a period of time. I will quote for travel costs separately where they are outside of Zone 2.
