About Farhan
Hello! I'm Farhan, a Toronto-based engineering student who loves making complex subjects accessible and less intimidating. Having navigated the rigors of high school math and physics to achieve a 98% average, I understand the strategies and study habits required to succeed. For the past two years, I've taught Grade 11 and 12 students at professional tutoring establishments, which has allowed me to hone my ability to adapt to different learning styles. Whether a student is struggling to grasp the basics or aiming for top marks for university applications, I am dedicated to providing a patient, structured, and encouraging learning environment.

Hi, I'm Farhan! As a computer engineering student actively involved in competitive robotics, I don't just teach formulas—I show students how they actually work in the real world. My lessons are tailored for high school and middle school students tackling math, physics, algebra, and trigonometry.
My Methodology: I believe in breaking down complex topics, from kinematics to circuit analysis, into logical, digestible steps. Rather than relying on rote memorization, I focus on building a strong foundational understanding. I frequently use practical, real-world analogies to simplify complex concepts, proving that they are much easier to grasp than they initially appear
A Typical Lesson:
Check-in: We start by reviewing recent homework, past tests, or specific pain points.
Concept Breakdown: I introduce the day's material using clear, step-by-step explanations.
Guided Practice: We tackle practice problems together so I can correct mistakes in real-time.
Independent Application: The student solves problems on their own to build confidence, finishing with a quick review of key takeaways.
What Sets Me Apart:
Because I actively apply these subjects in my own studies and projects, I can answer the age-old question: "When am I ever going to use this?" Whether a student is struggling to keep up or looking to get ahead, I provide a patient, structured, and highly practical learning environment. Let's make math and physics make sense!
