About Sumit

Hello! I'm a passionate mathematics tutor who believes that every student has the ability to succeed in mathematics with the right guidance and support.

Growing up, I realized that mathematics isn't difficult—it simply needs to be explained in a way that makes sense. That's what inspired me to become a tutor. I want to help students overcome their fear of mathematics and replace it with confidence, curiosity, and problem-solving skills.

For me, teaching is more than just helping students score better marks. It's about building a strong foundation that will benefit them throughout their academic journey. I enjoy breaking down complex concepts into simple, easy-to-understand steps so that learning becomes enjoyable rather than stressful.

I understand that every student learns differently. Some need more practice, some need more encouragement, and others simply need someone to explain concepts patiently. My goal is to create a supportive and comfortable environment where students feel confident asking questions, making mistakes, and learning at their own pace.

I believe that knowledge becomes more valuable when it is shared. Seeing a student understand a concept they once found difficult is one of the most rewarding parts of teaching. Their progress and confidence motivate me to continue helping more learners achieve their goals.

About the lesson

I believe that every student can learn mathematics with the right guidance and consistent practice. My teaching focuses on understanding concepts rather than memorizing formulas.

My teaching methods include:
Explaining every concept in simple and easy-to-understand language.
Starting from the basics before moving to advanced problems.
Using real-life examples to make mathematical concepts interesting.
Step-by-step problem solving so students understand the logic behind every solution.
Encouraging students to ask questions without hesitation.

The Usual Structure of a Class

Each class is planned to ensure maximum understanding and practice.

1. Quick Revision (5–10 minutes)
Review of the previous class.
Discussion of homework.
Clearing doubts.

2. Introduction of New Topic (15–20 minutes)
Explain the concept from the basics.
Use diagrams, examples, and simple explanations.

3. Guided Practice (20–25 minutes)
Solve different types of questions together.
Explain each step carefully.
Encourage students to solve questions independently.

4. Independent Practice (10–15 minutes)
Students solve problems on their own.
Immediate feedback and correction.
