About Tanisha
Hi, I'm Tanisha! I'm a BTech CSE graduate with a genuine passion for the English language and for helping others communicate with confidence.
Over the years, I've worked with learners of all ages and backgrounds — from young children just starting to form sentences, to school students preparing for exams, to working professionals who want to sound more confident in meetings, interviews, and everyday conversations. What I've learned through this is that everyone's relationship with English is different, and effective teaching means meeting each student exactly where they are.
I take my role seriously — I prepare for every class, track each student's progress, and adjust my approach based on what's actually working for them rather than following a fixed script. My goal isn't just to help you pass a test or finish a syllabus; it's to help you genuinely feel comfortable using English, whether that's writing a professional email, giving a presentation, or simply chatting with confidence.
I know that starting lessons with someone new can feel like a big decision, especially when English itself can feel intimidating to learn. So I try to make my classes a judgment-free space — one where mistakes are just part of learning, not something to be embarrassed about. Many of my students tell me they feel more relaxed and motivated after just a few sessions, and that's exactly the environment I aim to create.
Whether you're a parent looking for a patient teacher for your child, a student who needs steady exam support, or a professional wanting to polish your communication skills, I'd love to work with you and help you reach your goals.

My Teaching Approach
Hi, I'm Tanisha! Here's how I structure my classes and share my knowledge with students.
Teaching techniques and methods
I believe language learning works best when it's practical, not just theoretical. Rather than relying purely on textbooks, I use a mix of conversation practice, real-life scenarios, guided writing exercises, and interactive grammar drills. For spoken English, I focus on getting students talking from the very first class — even if it's just simple sentences — because confidence builds through practice, not memorization. For grammar and writing, I break down concepts into small, manageable pieces and reinforce them with examples the student can relate to, whether that's everyday conversation, school essays, or workplace emails.
Structure of a typical class
Each class usually follows a simple rhythm:
A quick warm-up — casual conversation or a review of the previous session to keep concepts fresh
The main topic — grammar rule, vocabulary set, writing skill, or speaking practice, introduced with clear examples
Guided practice — the student applies what they've learned with my support, through exercises, roleplay, or writing tasks
Feedback and correction — I point out mistakes gently and explain the "why" behind corrections, not just the fix
A short recap and homework or practice task to reinforce learning before the next class
What makes my classes different
I adapt my teaching style to the individual — a shy KG student needs a completely different approach than a working professional preparing for interviews. I keep the atmosphere relaxed and judgment-free, which especially helps students who feel nervous about speaking English. I also track each student's progress over time and adjust the pace and focus areas as needed, rather than following a rigid one-size-fits-all syllabus.
Who my classes are for
My classes are suited for a wide range of learners:
Young children (KG to primary level) building early language foundations
School and secondary-level students who need support with grammar, writing, and exam preparation
College students looking to improve academic writing or communication skills
Working professionals aiming to strengthen spoken English, business writing, or interview communication
