About Kholofelo

I'm a BSc IT student at the University of Pretoria, but my love for teaching started long before university. Throughout high school, I stayed after class to help my classmates with maths – explaining concepts in ways that actually made sense to them. That experience sparked a real passion for teaching. I know the high school syllabus well because I've recently been through it, and I understand the struggles students face. I'm patient, approachable, and genuinely excited to help others build confidence in maths. Seeing a student go from confused to confident is what drives me.

About the lesson

My lessons are practical and student-paced. I break down complex maths into small, digestible steps using real examples from my IT studies. Each session starts with a quick recap, then we tackle homework or past exam papers together. I focus on understanding why formulae work, not just memorising them. Whether you're catching up or pushing for a distinction, I adapt to your level. I also share simple memory tricks and shortcuts that helped me get through high school maths with ease. Lessons are relaxed – no judgement, just progress.
