About Enriquez
Hello, my name is Enriquez.
I am a 23-year-old BSc (Hons) Medical Science graduate with academic experience across a wide range of scientific disciplines, including Pharmacology, Toxicology, Immunology, Diagnostic Medicine, Human Physiology, Molecular Biology, and Disease Pathology.
My journey through education has been somewhat unconventional. From the age of nine, I was home-schooled and largely responsible for directing my own learning all the way through to A-Levels. As a result, I developed a deep interest not only in what we learn, but how we learn.
Years of independent study taught me how to break down complex information into its fundamental principles, identify the most efficient study methods for different subjects, and transform large volumes of content into concise, memorable knowledge. More importantly, it taught me how to approach learning as a skill in itself, one that can be developed, refined and applied to any challenge.
This perspective continues to shape the way I teach today.
Alongside my academic background, I have experience working within hospital environments across multiple specialties. This has given me insight into how scientific knowledge is applied in real-world healthcare settings and strengthened my communication, professionalism, and ability to explain complex ideas clearly to people from different backgrounds.
Teaching has been a passion of mine for many years. I have been helping others learn in various capacities since I was around 13 years old, whether supporting classmates (yes, I still did have classmates while being home-schooled!), mentoring younger students, or explaining difficult concepts to friends and family. Over time, I realised that one of the things I enjoy most is seeing a student go from "Head in their hands" to "Fist pumping the air."
My goal as a tutor is not simply to help students memorise information for an exam. I aim to help them develop confidence, curiosity, and a genuine understanding of their subjects. Whether we are exploring Shakespeare, analysing a biological process, or working through a challenging chemistry problem, I want students to feel empowered to think independently and approach learning with confidence.
At its best, education is more than a collection of facts, it is the process of learning how to think, question, communicate, and grow. That is the philosophy I bring to every lesson.

As I am someone who loved learning but had very few teachers or professors I felt allowed me to enjoy my lessons, I believe that students perform best when they genuinely understand a topic rather than simply memorising information.
I believe education is more than passing exams, it is about learning how to think, question, and communicate with confidence.
Too often, students are taught to memorise information without truly understanding it. My aim is to help students develop genuine understanding, curiosity, and independence so that success becomes a natural consequence of their learning.
Every lesson is tailored to the individual. Some students need structure and discipline; others need encouragement, confidence, or a fresh way of looking at a problem. I take the time to understand how each student learns best and adapt my teaching accordingly.
Rather than simply providing answers, I guide students through the thought process behind them. Whether analysing a Shakespeare passage, explaining a biological process, or tackling a difficult chemistry calculation, I encourage students to ask questions, explore ideas, and most importantly develop confidence in their own abilities.
I encourage you to come join me in my own personal unique style of tutoring!
