About Olivia
I'm Olivia and I'm currently studying Computer Science at Durham University. I obtained A*A*A*A at A-level for Mathematics, Further Mathematics, Computer Science, and English Literature.
Mathematics and Computer Science have always been my favourite subjects, and I'm continuously in awe of how layered and fascinating both subjects are.
Most of all, I adore Problem Solving. During my time as a student, I achieved 1st place in the National Cipher Challenge (out of over 7000 competitors) and have programmed numerous award winning apps. These have constantly tested my problem solving ability, and I'm always looking to improve it further.
Finally, I'm a massive advocate for Women in STEM and I'm constantly encouraging younger girls to step into Mathematics or Computer Science. Having been a finalist for the 2023 everywoman in Tech One to Watch award, I know just how vital it is that young girls do not shy away from STEM, as I've seen so many amazing things that women can achieve.

Each lesson is catered to the student's individual needs, focussing on areas they find challenging and wish to improve upon.
There is always a friendly and open environment, with curiosity and love for learning at the heart of every lesson.
Lessons can range from 45 minutes to 1 hour, depending on the needs of the student. And, lessons are available for all students from reception to A-level.
I have spent the last 6 months tutoring Mathematics to Y6 pupils with Action Tutoring. I have also taught Cryptography and Coding at lunch time clubs to pupils from Y7 - GCSE, as well as mentoring GCSE Mathematics.
