About David
Hi, I'm David, a Secondary Humanities Lead and teacher at a British school in Dubai. I have extensive experience teaching students aged 11-18 across a range of humanities subjects and supporting learners of all abilities.
I love helping students gain confidence in their learning, improve their exam performance and develop a genuine interest in the subjects they study. My aim is always to create a positive learning environment where students feel supported, challenged and motivated to achieve their best.

I'm a Secondary Humanities Lead at a British curriculum school in Dubai, with experience teaching and leading across a range of humanities subjects. I enjoy helping students build confidence, improve their academic skills, and achieve their potential.
My tutoring sessions are tailored to each student's needs and goals. I focus on developing a strong understanding of the subject alongside the key skills needed for success, whether that's exam technique, essay writing, source analysis, revision strategies, or improving subject knowledge. I aim to create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and challenging themselves.
Most lessons are 60 minutes long and are carefully planned to ensure students make clear progress while staying engaged and motivated.
