About Helen
I am a passionate and dedicated primary teacher who genuinely loves helping children grow in confidence and enjoy learning. Teaching is something I truly care about, and I take pride in building strong, positive relationships with the children I work with.
I am friendly, patient and supportive, and I always aim to create a calm and encouraging environment where children feel comfortable to try, make mistakes and succeed. I believe every child learns differently, and I enjoy adapting my approach to suit each individual.
Outside of teaching, I enjoy traveling, exploring new places and, of course, a good coffee — I bring that same positive and energetic approach into my sessions.

I am a UK-trained primary teacher with over 10 years of experience, currently teaching in a British curriculum school in Dubai. I specialize in early reading and math, supporting children aged 3–11 to build strong foundations in phonics, number and problem solving.
My lessons are warm, engaging and carefully tailored to each child, combining practical, hands-on learning with clear structure. I place a strong emphasis on building confidence alongside skills, helping children to feel secure and successful in their learning.
I have supported a wide range of learners, including those who need extra support as well as those ready for greater challenge. My aim is to create a calm, positive learning environment where children can thrive and make meaningful progress.
