Super Tutor

Jennie is one of our best ESL tutors. High-quality profile, qualifications verified, organised and responsive to lesson requests, and appreciated by their students.

About Jennie

My name is Jennie and I'm a native English speaker and a qualified ESL teacher. I have experience teaching General English, IELTS and Pronunciation, and have helped students pass job interviews and school exams. I have experience teaching English to both adults and children in Japan, Sydney and Perth. My current focus is on teaching adult learners.

About the lesson

My lessons are tailored for adult learners only. A General English class will consist of one grammar point, a list of vocabulary and various speaking tasks, as well as music, photographs and video resources to make the lesson more dynamic. I will also take note of your desired areas of improvement and make sure we focus on them accordingly.

I charge $50 for weekdays and $55 for weekend classes.

Perfect! I had a really good experience with her as a teacher. She is very dedicated and really takes the time to understand what you need. From the beginning, she noticed where I was struggling and focused on helping me improve those areas, which made a big difference.

I feel like I improved a lot thanks to her. She doesn’t just teach English, she also gives useful tips and advice that you can actually use in real life.

What I liked the most is how supportive and close she is. She’s patient, encouraging, and you can tell she really cares about your progress. I always felt comfortable in the classes, which helped me a lot.

I would definitely recommend her to anyone who wants to improve their English in a supportive and effective way.

Perfect! I’ve started my english sessions with Jennie online since June 2025. I would say she is one of the best teacher I’ve ever had. She is very professional, patient, and knowledgable in her field.
I’ve started with three sessions per week and now we have two sessions per week as I’m very busy with my full-time job. Jennie always encourages me to practice. I’d love to continue learning with Jennie to honor my english.
She is very well organized and each session we work on the different topics, which makes the progress more effective.
I highly recommend Jennie to anyone Who wants to improve their english level.

Mathieu (Matt) is a very focussed student who tries each task with a good attitude. We practised key vowel sounds and he followed my instructions respectfully. He is aware of the sounds he needs to work on and is very open to learning new vocabulary.

I worked with Jennie at the same English school as an ESL teacher for several years. She is organised, she articulates ideas well, has clear diction and really cares about her students and their progression. Having studied a foreign language herself, she can empathise with her students and the challenges they face when learning a new language. I’d definitely recommend her for your tutoring needs.

I've been working alongside Jennie as a fellow teacher colleague and coteacher since 2016, and more recently in my position as academic coordinator. Throughout these years, Jennie has provided the school and all stakeholders involved with a top-notch professional attitude that is profound in attention to detail, teaching methodology, classroom management and diligence in every step she takes. Words cannot express how deeply appreciative we've been of her deep care, support, patience and empathy for the world of teaching. She is always greatly appreciated by her colleagues and students alike. If you thrive to improve your language skills in a pleasant and dynamic learning environment, then you've reached your destination.
