About Maraea

Hi, I’m Maraea, a Biomedical Scientist based in the UK with a passion for making science simpler, clearer, and more enjoyable. I understand how overwhelming Biology and Chemistry can feel at times, and I love helping students break it down into manageable, understandable steps. My aim is always to create a supportive space where students feel confident asking questions and comfortable learning at their own pace. Whether you're aiming for a top grade or just trying to keep up, I tailor lessons to suit your individual needs and learning style. I bring both subject knowledge and a friendly, calm approach to each session, helping students feel capable and motivated. If you’re ready to boost your science skills, I’d love to support you on your journey.

About the lesson

As a scientist, I take a calm, structured, and student-led approach to tutoring. I focus on building confidence through clear explanations, real-life examples, and active recall techniques to help knowledge stick. I tailor each session to the student’s goals, whether that’s mastering tricky topics, exam prep, or reinforcing class content. Lessons typically last 60 minutes and are fully online, making them accessible and flexible. I support students from GCSE onwards (ages 14–18+), including those preparing for exams, resits, or aiming for higher science grades. Whether you’re feeling stuck or just want to improve, I’ll meet you where you are and help you build from there.
